Waterfront Positions
The Rez also hires students for a number of ongoing positions each semester. Below is a basic description of these positions. Please call 644-6892 for more information.

Head Lifeguard
2 positions, promote from lifeguard position within. OPS position, 20 hours fall and spring, 35 hours summer semester
Position is employed as a facility supervisor that assists the waterfront coordinator in providing a safe, efficient, customer friendly Waterfront Park. Assists with staff training.
Wage: $7.50 - $8.50 per hour.
ARC Lifeguard, CPR/PR, AED, PDT, and O2 instructor preferred on hire, must obtain within first semester.
Experience as lifeguard in waterfront operations, preferred.

Lifeguard
Rez Lifeguard Flyer (Adobe PDF)
OPS position, 10-20 hours each semester.
Position is employed to provide safety and supervision to the open water swim area. The lifeguard also assists in maintaining a safety watch for small craft rentals and sport club teams embarking from the Reservation property that may need assistance on the water. Hours vary.
Wage: From $7.50 per hour
Current ARC lifeguard, CPR/pr, AED, PDT and waterfront lifeguard certifications required.

Attendant
OPS position assists with operations of the waterfront, park and conference center to include cash register operations, conference center host for rentals, special events and custodial.
Wage: From $7.00 per hour.
CPR first aid required. Friendly customer service skills required. Hours include early morning set-ups and weekends.
