John returned to FSU from the faculty ranks of Shepherd College in West Virginia. From 1990 until 1995, John served as the Assistant Director and later Director of Intramural Sports at FSU. He left FSU to work at Penn State where he served as an Assistant Director of Campus Recreation and later in facility management within the Penn State Athletic Department. In his current position, John is responsible for overseeing all department operations. He has been a member of NIRSA for 15 years as well as a member of AAHPERD. John has a B.A. in History from Wilkes University, a B.S. in Physical Education from the University of Delaware, and an M.S. in Physical Education from Syracuse University. John is happy to be back at FSU and jokingly says... "No more shoveling four feet of snow and negative wind chills, just the occasional tropical storm or hurricane!"

Pattie joined the Campus Recreation staff in 1994 as Assistant Director of Multipurpose Facilities, a position in which she oversaw the operations of the Aquatic Unit and the FSU Reservation. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Programs adding the supervision of the Intramural Sports program to her tasks. Prior to arriving at FSU, Pattie worked as Director of Aquatics for the City of Tallahassee for 12 years and taught and coached in middle school in Volusia County for 5 years. She received her B.S. and Master's in Education at FSU.
