Staff
The LIT Program is operated by staff members of FSU's Campus Recreation department. All personnel are trained in CPR, First Aid, and emergency procedures. Each staff member has completed an intensive 40-hour camp inservice and have passed a background check. Certified lifeguards and other support staff supervise all waterfront activities.
LIT Requirements
Interested participants must complete and submit Leaders in Training application, three reference forms, and a Leaders in Training registration form prior to your interview date. SUMMER 2008 LIT interview dates will be Sunday, April 6 2PM-5PM or Saturday, April 19 9AM-12NOON. LIT Applications
Download the Leaders in Training application and reference forms (camper), the Leaders in Training registration form (parent), and the Parental Informed Consent Document. If mailing the application and registration forms, the informed consent document must be notarized. Please complete the application, registration form, and THREE reference check forms.
When to Register
General registration for all campers begins Monday March 24th. Applications, references, registration and informed consent may be submitted by mail, or in person. Notary not needed for onsite registration. If registering in person, you may register Monday-Friday 9am-5pm at the Administrative Office, here at the FSU Reservation (Directions).
Registration Fees
$100.00 (includes tax) per session. Payments are non-refundable. Full refunds will be given only for medical reasons documented by a physician. Documentation must be submitted by August 8, 2008. Payment is due upon acceptance into the LIT program, after the interview process. There will be a $25 administrative fee for changing camp sessions.
