Programs and Activities
Campers will participate in activities that include: water safety, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts, swimming, challenge courses, team building, climbing wall and outdoor education.
Typical Daily Schedule
7:30-8:30 am - Drop-off in Main Parking Lot
8:30-9:00 am - Camp Opening- All Campers
9:00-10:00 am - First Rotation of Activities
10:00-11:00 am - Second Rotation
11:00-12:00 pm - Third Rotation
12:00-12:30 pm - Lunch
12:30-1:30 pm - Fourth Rotation
1:30-2:30 pm - Fifth Rotation
2:30-3:30 pm - Sixth Rotation
3:30-4:00 pm - Clean-up
4:00-6:00 pm - Free Swim & Camper Pick-up
Staff
Camp Flastacowo staff are college students carefully screened and selected by FSU's Campus Recreation Department. All Camp staff are certified in CPR and First Aid. Each staff member has completed an intensive 40-hour camp inservice and has passed a background check. Certified lifeguards and other support staff supervise all waterfront activities.

Registration Information
We will again be accepting online registration this year! If your camper attended camp in 2010, then you will already have an online account, and registration will be quick and easy!! Forgot your log-in? No problem! We can resend you your login & password. New users will need to create an account.
Simply click on our Ultracamp Online Registration Link and register today!
Upon registration you'll need to download the Parental Informed Consent Form, which will be attached to your online registration confirmation e-mail . The consent document must be signed and notarized and mailed together with your registration and payment! Your payment without this notarized document is considered incomplete, and cannot be accepted. This document can only be signed by the camper's parent or legal guardian.
If registering in person, notarization is not needed, as our staff will witness your signature. **Before you register, please be sure to have your camper's health history, medical insurance, and immunization history information handy.
When to Register
General registration for all campers begins Monday, March 1, 2011. Register Online!
While we prefer you register online, beginning 3/1/11 you can register here in person at the Gate House (Directions), 2pm-7pm, Monday-Thursday, and 12pm-7pm, Friday-Sunday. However, we'll then ourselves input your paper registration into the online system and generate an account for you. Registering online yourself saves yourself a trip!
Registration Fees
One Camper: $180.00 (includes tax)
Additional Camper: $170.00 (includes tax), per same session
This discount is limited to family members residing in the same household throughout the year.
We accept only exact cash or checks, made payable to the Florida State University with your child's name and session dates in the memo section. Mail your payment (and Informed Consent Form) to 3226 Flastacowo Road, Tallahasee, FL 32310.
A $100 deposit is required to reserve each session.
The remaining $80.00 must be paid no later than May 14th for sessions 1-4 or June 11th for sessions 5-8.
FULL PAYMENT is required for camp registrations made after May 17th for sessions 1-4 and June 14th for sessions 5-9.
All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will be given only for medical reasons documented by a physician less the deposit amount. Documentation must be submitted by August 5, 2011.
There will be a $25 administrative fee for changing camp sessions.
