Favorite outdoors trip I've been on and why: In the fall of 2010 I spent 60 days solo backpacking through the Balkan Peninsula. I had the opportunity of climbing with locals in Italy, Croatia, Greece and Turkey. One of the highlights of the trip fulfilled a childhood goal of mine in climbing Mount Olympus to the mythical throne of Zeus.
Why I'm a part of FSU Outdoor Pursuits: It really is the perfect college job! Adventure traveling all over the southeast with 10 new friends every weekend swimming, hiking, paddling and climbing: what more could you ask for??
The other stuff I do here at FSU: I am a member of the FSU Rock Climbing club and spend as many nights as possible checking out new movies at the SLC.
Academic interests: I am an International Affairs Major focusing in Geography and History. I also spent a semester as an exchange student in Istanbul, Turkey.

Favorite outdoors trip I've been on and why: That would easily have to be the very first trip I ever led, A kayaking overnight in the Florida Everglades. There was an awesome group of participants, abundant wildlife, sandy beaches, and spectacular weather.
Why I'm a part of FSU Outdoor Pursuits: I love nothing more than to spend every moment I can in the outdoors. What makes the outdoors even better is when you get to meet new people and share that experience with them. Outdoor pursuits is the perfect opportunity to do just that.
The other stuff I do here at FSU: Rock Climbing Club, Scuba Diving Club, Campus Rec lifeguard, swim lessons instructor.
Academic interests: French and Business Management

Favorite outdoors trip I've been on and why: I enjoy all the trips I have been on, each for different reasons. I would say the trip that has change my life the most was a backpacking trip on an island in Lake Superior, Isle Royale; it was a beautiful place to spend two weeks. Along with the trips I have been on, I also work for a summer camp where I lead 3-9 day trips for younger girls and every new trip makes just as large of an impact on my life. I love it all!
Why I'm a part of FSU Outdoor Pursuits: I really like being outside and going on adventures; whether it is backpacking, canoeing, or even caving, I find it all a ton of fun. It is an awesome opportunity to help other people experience such wonderful things.
The other stuff I do here at FSU: I will be a sophomore this fall and am looking forward to another great year! I am apart of Florida State’s Hands of Hope volunteer organization, Booster Club, and Student Alumni Association. I also am a member of the water polo team, and take part in a variety of intramurals.

Favorite outdoors trip I've been on and why: This past summer I spent almost two months backpacking the Wind River Range in Wyoming. During that trip I spent 48 hours completely alone with only my sleeping bag, tarp and the vastness of the mountains. It took being completely removed from everything for me to find myself. That trip changed my life and inspired me to share my love of the outdoors with everyone I could.
Why I'm a part of FSU Outdoor Pursuits: I love everything about the outdoors. Sharing my knowledge and skills is a way for me to give back to this beautiful earth that has given me so much.
The other stuff I do here at FSU: I am part of the Climbing Club at FSU and love riding my bike around campus.
Academic interests: I am a creative writing major here at FSU and hope to write for an outdoor magazine or other similar publication someday.

Favorite outdoors trip I've been on and why: Animal research trip to Africa. I got to spend 6 months monitoring and tracking animals every day and learning a ton about their behaviors, habits, and survival methods. I worked with everything from lions, cheetahs, leopards to elephants, rhinos, and everything in between. I also got to work with tigers and re-introducing them into the wild.
Why I'm a part of FSU Outdoor Pursuits: I really enjoy being outdoors and exploring the hidden wonders that are all across the country. There are tons of adventures to be had when you go into the woods, go paddling on a river, or even climbing on mountains.
The other stuff I do here at FSU: I play a lot of intramural sports with my friends, go to the rock gym in railroad square, and like to check out the concerts at Floyd's when my favorite bands come.

Favorite outdoors trip I've been on and why: I’m definitely more of an aquatics oriented guy, so kayaking and canoeing through the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park was pretty awesome. Without a loud motor announcing that you're coming, you get to see a lot more wildlife and it gave me a chance to notice some things you wouldn’t get the chance too flying across the water at 30 mph.
Why I'm a part of FSU Outdoor Pursuits: Because I’m an outdoorsy kind of guy! I love being outdoors and I want other people that possibly haven’t had the chance to get to experience it too. I also haven’t had the chance to camp up north so  I was hoping the program would give me an opportunity to do that as well.
The other stuff I do here at FSU: Mostly it comes down to Outdoor Pursuits for me. I play every IM sport I get the opportunity to as well.
Academic interests: I’m Pre-med here at FSU so I have to pretend I’m interested in Chemistry and Biology, but my real interest lies in Emergency Medicine and I’m doing everything I can to further pursue that.
