Steven Powell. Steven Powell, Director of Facilities, Leach Center 644-0544 Steven joined the FSU Campus Recreation staff in July 2004. Steven comes by way of Western Kentucky University where he received B.S. in Environmental Management and Resource Conservation as well as Outdoor Recreation. Upon graduation, Steven chose to return to WKU to pursue his M.S. in Recreation and Park Administration, which brings him to us. “I am very excited about this opportunity. So far, everyone has been extremely friendly and I look forward to meeting new people each and every day. If you need anything or would just like to chit-chat (that’s for you Mark Williams), please feel free to stop by the office anytime.” In addition to his enthusiasm for the job, Steven apparently has some basketball skill, seeing that he has dominated the "Basketball Shootout" in the Leach Challenge ever since his arrival.
