UPCOMING OFFICIALS TRAINING CLINICS

The Florida State University Intramural Program hires nearly 200 students each year to fill positions as sports officials and supervisors. Officials are needed for almost all IM team sports including flag football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and softball. Training sessions are held in the weeks prior to the beginning of each respective season. If you are interested in joining the Intramural staff, please call 850-644-2430, email us, stop by the Intramural Sports Office in 1035 Tully Gym (next to the Leach Center). Upcoming information sessions and training clinics are listed by position below.

SPRING 2012 SPECIFIC POSITIONS
Intramural Sports trains and hires students for various jobs within our program. If you already have an interest, click on the job below to learn more details and view the hiring steps and timeline.

Rec Soccer Officials
Officiate IM soccer matches at the Rec Sports Plex. Hiring begins in early January. Work begins in mid January.

Basketball Officials
Officiate IM basketball games in Tully Gym. Hiring begins in early January. Work begins in late January.

Softball Officials
Officiate IM softball games at the Rec Sports Plex. Hiring begins in early February. Work begins in late February.

Other Positions
Intramural Sports will hire a limited number of staff members for its late semester short-season sports of 4-on-4 flag football and playground dodgeball.

Spring Information Sessions

All interested applicants should attend an information session for an overview of Intramural Sports jobs, pay rates & responsibilities, and additional application information. Each session is held in the Student Services Bldg Room 208 (above Denny's All Nighter Diner).

Thursday, January 5th at 4:00 pm

Monday, January 9th at 4:00 pm

Thursday, January 12th at 3:00 pm

Wednesday, February 8th at 3:00 pm

Information sessions are mandatory for new (prospective) employees. New employees need only to attend one of these sessions.

Where to Go

Finding the Student Services Building (SSB) The Student Services Building is attached to the central parking garage (#2). The SSB houses the Park Street Diner along with other student service offices. Enter at the Woodward Ave entrance and proceed to 2nd floor for both 203 and 208.
