Fumbles are Immediately DEAD When The Ball Touches the Ground. There are NO Scrambles for a Fumble.
When Fumbled Backwards, the Ball is Ruled Dead at the Spot Where the Ball Touches the Ground (Next Play Begins at This Spot).
When Fumbled Forwards, the Ball is Ruled Dead at the Spot Where the Ball Was Fumbled (Cannot Gain Yards on a Fumble).
Fumbles and Bad Snaps are Considered Running Plays for Timing Purposes.
Punting
On Each 4th Down, the Referee Will Ask the Offensive Captain to Declare Punt or Play. The Choice Will Be Announced to the Defense.
The Decision is Final and Can Only Be Changed if a Team Time-Out is Taken or a Penalty with a Repeat of Down is Accepted.
All Punts Must Be Announced. Quick Kicks are Illegal (10-Yard Penalty). There are No Fake Punts.
The Ball Must Be Snapped (Shotgun) Back to the Punter. No Offensive or Defensive Player May Cross the Line of Scirmmage Until the Ball is Kicked.
Mercy Rule
If a Team is Ahead by 19 or More Points at or Inside the 2:00 Mark of the 2nd Half, the Game Will Be Called.
