Florida State University does not provide accident insurance coverage for injuries received by Intramural participants. Each participant should make sure that he/she has coverage either through family policies or the student insurance plan. We cannot emphasize this point enough. Florida State University PROHIBITS possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages on University property. This includes the Intramural Fields and Tully Gym. Violators will be asked to leave the area. Failure to do so can result in forfeiture of the ball game, suspension of individuals and/or teams, and appropriate action by the University Judicial Office. I. GENERAL ELIGIBILITY A. Participation is limited to currently enrolled students and members of the Faculty and Staff of Florida State University. All areas of eligibility are covered in the Intramural By-Laws which are available through the Campus Recreation Office. B. In order to participate in an Intramural contest each player must present their validated FSU Identification Card. Exceptions must be directed to the Intramural Office for consideration by the IM staff DURING REGULAR UNIVERSITY WORKING HOURS (8:00am-5:00pm). Bring a photo ID and proof of payment to obtain a wavier from the IM staff. NO SUCH WAVIER WILL BE GRANTED ON THE COURTS. II. RULES 1. This activity is designed as a team activity, however, individuals who wish to enter may do so. 2. There is no limit to the number of men who can participate on a team. However, only the top five individual scores will be counted toward the team total. 3. Each team member is to shoot 30 free throws. These may be taken consecutively or in groups of 10. 4. Three warm-up throws will be allowed. The fourth shot counts! If an individual takes a break at 10, he/she is allowed no warm-up shots when they continue. 5. Each individual's score will be recorded as the number of foul shots made out of 30. 6. Each team's total will be in the sum of the team's best five scores. There is a possible 150 points. 7. The individual champion in each division -- fraternity, sorority, and independent will receive a IM champion T- shirt. Team champions will also receive shirts.
