INTRAMURAL SPORTS T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION

Intramural Sports is searching for creative designs for its champion t-shirts for the 2008-09 academic year. Submit your ideas and win up to $100 from Intramural Sports if your design is selected for use. Not an artist or a techie for computer work, no problem! Submit your design concept (drawings and non-digital art acceptable) to win $50. Free shirts for the winners as well.

2007-08 Champion Designs

Design Specifications
as of March 24 ,2008

Main Design
Maximum of 12" wide by 12" high. Maximum number of colors is 4. Main design may be on front or back.

Supporting Design
Maximum of 4" wide by 4" high (exceptions must be approved). Maximum number of colors is 2. Printed on reverse side of shirt.

Athletics Logo Usage
The Seminole head logo and spear (as used for Varsity Athletics teams) are NOT permitted.
The interlocking FS design is acceptable.

Campus Recreation Logo Usage
The Campus Recreation circle spear logo shall be utilized in either (or both) the main design or supporting design.

Prohibited Design Elements
Caricatures of a Seminole indian in any form are PROHIBITED.
Sportmanship shirt shall not include a year designation.
Similarities to other non-FSU trademarked designs is prohibited.

Possible Design Elements
Sports elements, equipment, etc.
FSU, Florida State, Florida State University, IM Sports, Intramural Sports and other wordmarks are permissible.
2008-09 or similar wording for year is permissible on all-campus, league, and recreational champion shirts.

Design Format
Digital art is preferred. Vector art as created in programs such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator are preferred.
Handdrawn or other design formats will be accepted as design concepts.

Contest Deadline
Entries shall be submitted to David Peters in the Intramural Sports Office, 136 Tully Gym, by Friday, May 16, 2008 at 12 Noon. Designer name and contact information required. Digital files shall be submitted via CD. Contact David Peters (email via web) with any questions.

All Campus Champion	Shirt Colors: Garnet and Black (Design Must Work on Both Colors)
League Champion (Div I, I-AA, Women's, Frat, Sor)	Shirt Color: Likely Ash Grey
Recreational Champion (Div II and III)	Shirt Color: Likely White
Sportsmanship Award (All Divisions)	Shirt Color: Hunter Green

Awards
Complete Digitized Design	If selected, $100 plus shirts
Design Concept (Handdrawn or Non-Digital)	If selected, $50 plus shirts
