Complete details available online in Section 6 of the Intramural Sports Handbook.
Available for Men's and Co-Rec Teams Teams Honored at the End of the Spring Semester.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR TEAM

Teams may enter the Annual Championship Standings by registering their team online at the Intramural Sports web site between the start of the fall semester and January 31st of the following spring semester (register now). Once registered, team points will be calculated for all sports completed under the registered team name only. Following registration in the Annual Championship Standings race, if a team wishes to change names, the IM Sports staff must be notified prior to the playoff meeting for the respective sport. For minor sports (individual and dual sports such as racquetball tournaments), team members must sign up as a individual and include their team's name on the registration form. Teams may NOT claim individuals for their team once a tournament or event has begun.

Team Sports Participation Points
Men's and co-rec teams receive 20 points for their participation in each team sport. Team sports include those sports which require 3 or more participants to field a regulation squad for the sport. Participation points are awarded only once per team sport regardless of the number of teams registered under a team's name.
Individual/Dual Sports & Special Event Participation Points
Men's and co-rec teams receive 5 points per participant in each non-team sport. Such sports include, but are not limited to, racquet sports tournaments (singles receives 5 points per player, doubles receives 10 points per doubles squad), Texas Hold Em Poker, mini golf, the go-cart time trials, and other special events such as the swimming or track meets. Teams may receive up to 20 participation points in each non-team sport.

Teams score points based on their finish in tournament play. Bonus points are awarded for participating in the Division I, points are subtracted for teams in the Division II (when Division I-AA is available) and Division III.
