Points are awarded in team sports following the completion of the postseason
tournament. Playoff teams are ranked according to their finish in the postseason
tournament. Teams that do not qualify for the playoffs are ranked based
on their regular season record. Ties are broken for playoff qualification
only and not for the awarding of points.
