The following modifications were made to the fraternity divisions at the
conclusion of the 2005-06 academic year.

Fraternity Divisions Policy
Fraternity teams are divided into two divisions -- garnet and gold -- based
on prior participation in Intramural Sports. At the conclusion of each academic
year, the lowest scoring eligible fraternity in the garnet division is demoted
to the gold division. The gold division champion is then promoted to the
garnet division for the next year's events. In the event that a garnet division
fraternity becomes ineligible for participation in intramurals, the next
highest scoring team from the gold division will be promoted to the garnet
division. Modifications to the fraternity divisional structure are made
only at the conclusion of the academic year unless unusual circumstances
dictate otherwise.
