The Florida State University Intramural Program hires nearly 200 students each year to fill positions as sports officials and supervisors. Officials are needed for almost all IM team sports including flag football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and softball. Training sessions are held in the weeks prior to the beginning of each respective season. If you are interested in joining the Intramural staff, please call 644-2430, email us, stop by the Intramural Sports Office in 136 Tully Gym (next to the Leach Center), or come to one of our officials' clinics.

An IM Official Gets into Position.
Site Supervisor
OPS position, 10-20 hours per week, current American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification required. Supervise student officials and participants at game sites, tend to injured participants, settle on-field and on-court rule protests when possible, obtain feedback from players & spectators regarding their participation in intramural sports. Good attitude and customer service skills required. Officiating background a bonus. Candidates typically identified among current intramural sports officials. Hiring occurs at the end of each semester. Varied hours, usually evenings and late nights.
Wage: $7.00 - $8.00 per hour.

Sports Official
Part of officiating crew for various team sports -- flag football, volleyball, kickball, basketball, soccer, softball, and dodgeball. Employee selects which sports he/she wishes to officiate. Scorekeeping may also be required. No prior experience necessary. Training sessions provided. Hiring occurs approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of each team sport season. Link to our clinic dates for details. Interested students must attend appropriate training sessions and complete rules exams & on-field/on-court evaluations before being hired. Varied hours, typically evenings and late nights.
Wage: $6.40 - $7.00 per hour.

Sign-In Attendant
Verifies identity with and records information off of FSUCard for each participant at game site. Coordinates signing of release waiver by each participant. Federal work-study students eligible. Hiring occurs at the beginning of each semester. Varied hours, typically evenings and late nights.
