1. Go to https://jobs.fsu.edu to login to the FSU Human Resources Job Database. (note the https part) 2. Click on View Job Postings / Apply for a Job. 3. In the Job Search form that appears, under Keywords in Job Title, type "Intramural" in the keyword box. Then, click the beige Search box in the bottom left to search for our job. 4. Among the jobs that should appear is Intramural Official (job #2793). Click on the blue Intramural Official link to view job details. 5. To select this job, click on the beige Add Job to Basket box. The page will reload and that button will change to Delete Job in Basket. 6. Click on the blue Job Basket link to view this job in your basket (Athletic and Recr Asst). 7. Finally, click on the beige Apply for Jobs in Basket link to start the application process. 8. Apply for Job / Identification screen will appear. If you have never applied for a job using this system before, you will need to click on the blue Are you a new applicant? Click here to register near the bottom of the screen. (If you have applied at FSU before using this system, simply login and skip step 9). 9. Enter your email address and a password then click Register to gain access to the application system. Completing your application is next. Intramural Sports requires a MINIMUM amount of information for you to apply. Additional mandatory training sessions, rules tests, and on-court/on-field evaluations are part of the application process. Information about meetings can be found on the IM Sports web site or by calling 644-2430. Please note that the online resume you will create next in the OMNI system can be used to apply for other job openings at FSU. The directions below will explain what information is needed to apply for an IM Sports job. You may wish to include ADDITIONAL information so that your online resume will be more complete and thorough in case you apply for other jobs on campus. Note that you can update your online resume at a later date through the OMNI system. (1) Apply for Job Read this page and click Next at the bottom. (2) Contact Details Complete this page with the information requested. Use the blue Edit Address link to add your mailing address. Be sure to include phone number and email address as well. Finally, click Next at the bottom to continue. (3) Education Select the appropriate education level from the drop-down menu. No other information is required for IM Sports; however this is one of the pages where you may enter additional information, if you wish. Click on Next to continue. (4) Current / Prior Employment No information required. Additional information optional. Click on Next to continue. (5) Licenses / Certificates No information required. Additional information optional. Click on Next to continue. (6) References No information required. Additional information optional. Click on Next to continue. (7) Attachments No information required. Additional information optional. Click on Next to continue. (8) Questionnaire Please answer all questions on this page. Please read each question carefully and answer as appropriate for yourself. Likely answers for most students are Yes for 1, No for 2, Yes for 3, No for 4. Question 5 (the Do you understand? one) deals with the fact that a criminal record can have an impact on your ability to be hired by FSU. By selecting YES, you indicate that you understand this (it does NOT mean you have a criminal record). Questions 6-9 refer to your criminal background. Answer as appropriate. Finally, click on Next to continue. (9) Preferences No information required. Additional information optional. Click on Next to continue. (10) How Did You Find Out About Us? No information required. Additional information optional. Click on Next to continue. (11) Submit Application Please read this page regarding your application to FSU. Then click Submit to send your online application to FSU. Once you have completed and submitted the application, don't forget to Sign Out of the system (upper right). You will receive emails from the FSU Human Resources Office concerning this application. Please note that additional training sessions and future evaluations are required to secure a position with Intramural Sports. |
