Are You Ready for Some Football?
The 4-on-4 flag football season is almost here. And, Intramural Sports makes it easy to get signed up to play. Here's how. Find a couple of friends to form a team. Obviously, you need 4 but a few extras as subs cannot hurt. Then, the team captain registers online (now through Monday) at campus.fsu.edu (Secure Apps, Intramural Sports Sign-Up). You just need a team name, captains contact information, and your preferred day of the week to play. Team members don't have to register online, they just show their FSUCard at the Rec SportsPlex before the game to join the team. The team captain will need to attend the captain's meeting on Monday, July 6th at 3:30 in Moore Auditorium. You'll receive all the league details then and that confirms your spot in the league. And, it's all FREE! So form a team and sign-up this week!

Register Now for Tennis Singles & Team Bowling
The summer team bowling season and tennis singles tournament both get underway on July 8th. Register now, online, for the tennis singles tournaments. Team bowling registration is available in the IM Sports Office in 1035 Tully Gym ($36 due at registration, cash or check only). Sign-up ends Monday. Schedules will be posted for all participants on Tuesday, July 7th.

Register for Kickball & Wiffleball Starting Monday
Intramural Sports continues this session with 2 more field sports: 8-on-8 kickball and 4-on-4 wiffleball. Register Monday through Wednesday (July 6-8) for kickball and wiffleball at campus.fsu.edu. And, you can sign-up for our tailgate games competition comprised of horseshoes, washers, cornhole, ladderball, and other classic tailgating games. 2 players per team. Get complete details on the summer sports planner. If you're not familiar with some of the sports being offered or if you would like even more information, check out the sport guides for league and tournament formats.

Main Campus Fields Open for Practices, Pick-Up Games
Looking for a place for a pick-up game or some practice? The Main Campus Fields are open daily during daylight hours, weather permitting. See the facility calendars for complete hours information. For updates on rainy days, call the IM Sports RainLine at 850-645-RAIN.

Don't Get Caught with an Ineligible Player on Your Team
While most participants are automatically eligible for participation in Intramural Sports based on payment of appropriate fees to the University with tuition, approximately 30 potential IM participants are required to provide additional information to the Intramural Sports administrative staff prior to being declared eligible to play in any Intramural Sports league or event. Does the IM staff need more information from you or a potential teammate prior to playing? Scan our collection of ineligible players to be sure. Teams that play with an ineligible player are subject to immediate dismissal from league or tournament play.

Make Your Run at the All-Campus Annual Championship Title
Want your team to be known as the best IM team on campus? Compete for the annual men's and co-rec team titles by earning points in numerous IM sports throughout the year. Read over our Annual Championship Standings Quick Summary for independent teams for the basics or get the complete details on the points standings in the Intramural Sports Handbook. Get involved now! Link to the independent team registration page to get your team signed up for the title race. Registration will continue through January 31st.

Rain? Check the Flag or Call the RainLine for Game Updates
Stormy afternoon? Call the IM RainLine at 850-645-RAIN (7246) before you head out to the fields to check the status of your game. The RainLine is updated, when necessary, by 5:00 p.m. on game days and throughout the evening when the rain arrives after play has begun. Or, at the Main Campus Fields, take a look at the flag. The MCF is open when the green flag is flying from the flagpole near the building. When the red flag is up, the fields are closed and all recreation is prohibited (practice, etc.). At the Rec SportsPlex, the gates will be closed and locked when the facility is closed due to wet weather. Persons using either facility when closed are subject to a citation from the FSU Police.
