2009 Start to Fitness Participants.
If you need some motivation and direction in your workouts, join us in our newest faculty and staff program and competition, From Start to Fitness.
Program Details
The 10-week program includes:
* 2 group workouts each week
* 1 individual workout pass per week
* 10 weeks of motivation, fitness, & fun!

Because we are always looking for ways to improve, we've changed our procedure. To closely monitor attendance and proper pass usage, class passes will be given on a weekly basis. If class size dwindles by the 5th week of the program, we will open up your spot to new participants. Please be considerate of the instructors that are excited to teach you class by "sampling" all that the Leach Group Exercise Program has to offer!

Session Descriptions
I'm Joining a Gym, Now What? - You've made the first step by joining a gym, but the thought of what to do and where to start can be overwhelming. Come to this session to learn more about what to expect in a facility, what to look for in a trainer, how to start a fitness program, and simply how to get more bang for your buck! Participants will receive a FREE pedometer and information on Fitness Walking to kick start their journey to a healthier lifestyle.
Invest in Yourself! - You put your time and money into your job, family and home. But have you thought about investing in yourself? Bring your lunch and come to this 45-minute presentation to find out what you can do to prevent common diseases and conditions and how to improve your overall health and happiness!
Well at Work & Feeling Fit! - Did you know that the average American spends 60% of their waking hours at work? Those who work primarily at a desk get very minimal physical activity during the day. Join this session and learn how to fit fitness and healthy diets into your workplace and what you can do to incorporate employee programs in your office that can improve overall health and wellness.
Maintain Your Weight During the Holidays - With the holidays just around the corner, you have started making plans for family get-togethers and celebrations. These gatherings are surrounded by delicious foods that are typically high in fat, sugar, and calories yet are low on nutrition. Kick start those New Year’s Resolutions early and join this 45-minute presentation to learn more about avoiding temptation, portion control, modifying recipes, and maintaining healthy eating habits.
