LEACH POOL
Lap Swimming
The Leach Pool is a 16-lane by 25-yard indoor swimming facility. Lanes are available to Leach patrons for lap swimming at all times, unless closed for staff training or a special pool event. See the Lane Availability Schedule for regular events that may limit the number of lanes open for lap swimming. Special events and closure information is featured on the Aquatics home page.

Dive In
Over the deep end of the pool are two 1-meter and two 3-meter diving boards.

Water Basketball
Hoop it up in the pool. The water basketball goal is open throughout the day in the shallow end of the pool. Simply stop by the Lifeguard Office poolside to checkout the basketball for a game.

SPA AREA
Whirlpool Spas
Heated to 104 degrees, our two whirlpools can accommodate up to 15 people in total.

Steam Room
Located off the pool deck, our two steam rooms are
Remember, even in steam rooms, appropriate swimwear is required.

Sauna
Enjoy the dry heat of our sauna. Again, appropriate swimwear is required in the spa area.

POOL RENTALS
Rental Information
The Leach Center Pool is available on a limited basis for group activities and rentals. All rentals must be requested at least two weeks in advance to the Aquatic Director. In addition, the Student Recreation Board must approve any group requesting to rent the Leach Pool. All rentals must provide proof of liability insurance at the time of contract meeting. Rental rates vary depending on group and facility. Please call 850-644-4531 for more information.

A variety of groups utilize the FSU aquatic facility. On-campus groups include student government, sororities and fraternities, the FSU Swimming and Diving teams, Housing & Residence Life, SCUBA, water polo club teams, and other student clubs. Outside groups include area swim clubs, synchronized swim clubs, international swim clubs, master swim clubs, day care groups, summer camps, and high school activities.

The FSU Swimming and Diving squads host their home meets in the Leach Center and practice at Leach's indoor facility throughout the year. Both NCAA and high school district meets have also been hosted at Leach.
