| TRAVEL CAMP INFORMATION |
Activities
Possible travel camp activities may include low & high challenge courses, canoeing, day hiking, orienteering, coastal kayaking, beach trips, and swimming. Campers may also have an opportunity to earn service hours through environmental clean ups.
Potential Trip Destinations
Chipola River, Wacissa River, Torreya State Park, Ochlocknonee River, Wakulla Springs, St. Mark's Reserve, and various other Big Bend destinations.
Camper Requirements
For the safety of the campers throughout this challenging week, each Monday, campers will perform a swim check. The swim check requires campers to swim 50 meters and tread water for 2 minutes. Use of the camper's own equipment for outdoor adventures is allowed but not required.
Staff
The Travel Camp is operated by staff members of FSU's Campus Recreation department. All personnel are trained in CPRO, First Aid, and emergency procedures. Each staff member has completed an intensive 40-hour camp inservice and has passed a background check. Certified lifeguards and other support staff supervise all waterfront activities.

Registration Information
We will again be accepting online registration this year! If your camper attended camp in 2010 or 2011, then you will already have an online account, and registration will be quick and easy!! Forgot your log-in? No problem! We can resend you your login & password. New users will need to create an account.
Simply visit our Ultracamp Online Registration Site and register today!
Upon registration you'll need to download the Parental Informed Consent Form, it will be attached to your online registration confirmation e-mail . The consent document must be signed and notarized and mailed together with your registration and payment! Your payment without this notarized document is considered incomplete, and cannot be accepted. This document can only be signed by the camper's parent or legal guardian.
If registering in person, notarization is not needed, as our staff will witness your signature. Before you register, please be sure to have your camper's health history, medical insurance, and immunization history information handy.

General registration for all campers begins March 1, 2012. Register Online!
Registration Fees
One Camper: $235.00 (includes tax), per session.
We accept only exact cash or checks, made payable to the Florida State University with your child's name and session dates in the memo section. Mail your payment (along with your Informed Consent Form) to 3226 Flastacowo Road, Tallahassee, FL 32310.
A $150.00 deposit is required to reserve each session.
The remaining $85.00 must be paid no later than May 12th for sessions 1-4 or June 9th for sessions 5-8.
FULL PAYMENT is required for camp registrations made after May 14th for sessions 1-4 and June 11th for sessions 5-8, as deposits will no longer be accepted.
All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will be given only for medical reasons documented by a physician less the deposit amount. Documentation must be submitted by August 3, 2012.
There will be a $25 administrative fee for changing camp sessions.
