Check Out the OP Spring Trip Schedule Backpacking, rafting, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and more are among the trips planned by the Outdoor Pursuits staff for students during the spring semester. Check out the complete spring trip schedule online. Get out with OP in 2010! For All Those Who Want To Get Out and Live! For many, our lives are filled with the mundane, time devouring activities that bring us nothing. If you feel that the monster is consuming your time and you are waking up to each day only to survive until bedtime, you are a prime candidate for FSU's Outdoor Pursuits (OP). OP is a multifaceted program offered through the Campus Recreation that exposes participants to the great outdoors. OP emphasizes adventure, environmental awareness, challenge, education, personal development, safety, and fun with a variety of exciting outdoor activities and opportunities. Even though you may feel unskilled and uneducated, our Outdoor staff will show you all you need to know and facilitate your experience to assist you with your goal. If you are planning your own adventure, our Resource Center in the Administration Building at the Rez can help you. Information on outdoor recreation facilities and programs in the Southeast, including state park brochures, national forest maps, canoe and bicycle trails, are available to FSU students at no charge. Equipment to outfit your own get-away adventure is available at great student equipment rental rates. Leave No Trace FSU Outdoor Pursuits is a proud partner of Leave No Trace in its efforts to build awareness, appreciation and respect for our wildlands. Visit Leave No Trace online at www.lnt.org.
