Group Exercise Schedule Now Available on the Fitness Page Looking for the group exercise schedule? It is now posted in the Fitness section. Click on the Fitness tab above to jump to our Fitness section for complete details. NEW at the Leach Center This Fall Campus Rec welcomes students and members back to the Leach Center this fall with several new additions and enhancements. Our basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton players will notice newly refurbished courts. During August, the courts were sanded down, relined, and refinished for the fall semester. Plus, we've moved back the 3-point line from the high school distance to the men's college arch. Also, look for new flat screen TVs throughout the cardio area on the mezzanine level. And, you can now listen to several TV stations via your iPod or any FM receiver. One thing that hasn't changed is the price for students... it's still FREE to get in for all FSU students, just bring your current, valid FSUCard. Listen to ESPN, ESPN2, CNN, and MTVu Anywhere in Leach You can now list to your favorite programs as they play on the TV screens throughout the Leach Center. Just use the FM tuner on your iPod or other portable music device. Tune to 92.9 for MTVu, 97.3 for ESPN, 104.9 for CNN, and 107.9 for ESPN2. SportsCenter, the latest news and music now available for your listening and viewing pleasure. Regular Fall Hours Resume at Leach Regular fall hours begin Saturday, August 21st, 11:00 am until 9:00 pm on weekends, 6:15 am until 11:00 pm Mondays through Thursdays, and 6:15 am until 10:00 pm on Fridays. Note, the Leach will close at 6:00 pm on Sunday, August 29th for staff training. See the Leach Hours Calendar for complete details. Fall Group Exercise Classes Begin August 30th Ready for a STEP class, Spinning session or even Yoga? Group exercise classes resume on Monday, August 30th. Leach Aquatics Presents Open Water SCUBA Training Join your friends in enjoying the beauty of the silent underwater world! Recreational scuba training is back this fall. Once again, the Leach Center will offer an Open Water Diver course taught by instructors from the nation's oldest national scuba certification agency, Scuba Educators International. Learn more including session dates, cost, and requirements on the SCUBA Training page. The fall class currently is full, but you can preview the class and prepare to register for the spring 2011 session. Grab Your Racquet and Head for the Leach Courts Racquetball, squash, badminton, table tennis... organized competitive and recreational play is available for racquet sports enthusiasts. Now with over 20,000 square feet of fitness space, there is room for almost everything you might need to workout. Over 100 strength and cardiovascular machines complement Leach's aerobics classes and personal fitness training.
