BASKETBALL OFFICIALS JOB INFORMATION & APPLICATION PROCESS

JOB DETAILS > Basketball officials referee intramural games in Tully Gym.
STAFF SIZE / POSITIONS AVAILABLE > 45 officials on staff, likely 35-40 positions available this spring.
PREFERRED SKILLS > Familiarity with basketball (as a player or fan), previous officiating experience in basketball or another sport is a bonus.
KEY QUALITIES > Willingness to learn, positive attitude, hustle, ability to accept feedback, willingness to improve throughout season.
WORK SHIFTS & RATE > 3.5 hour shifts, Sundays through Thursdays between 5:30 pm and 12 Midnight, $7.75-$8.25 hourly wage.

Where to Go

Finding the Student Services Building (SSB) The Student Services Building is attached to the central parking garage (#2). The SSB houses the Park Street Diner along with other student service offices. Enter at the Woodward Ave entrance and proceed to 2nd floor for both 203 and 208. Finding Tully B001 (Tully Gym Basement Classrooms) Enter the main level of Tully Gym and proceed to the front lobby (with vending machines). Go past vending machines to stairs. Take stairs down to basement level. Classrooms B001 and B005 are located in this hallway. Finding the Intramural Sports Office The IM Office is located in Tully Gym Room 1035. Tully Gym is adjacent to the Leach Center. Room 1035 is on the main level at the east end of the hall (opposite from lobby area).
