Register Now for 4-on-4 Flag Football, Wallyball
The final sports of the spring semester get started after Spring Break. Team registration for 4-on-4 flag football is now available for men's, women's, co-rec fraternity, and sorority teams at campus.fsu.edu (Secure Apps, Intramural Sports Sign-Up). See our rules section for a video rules overview and rules summary for 4-on-4 flag football. And, get registered now for wallyball. It's volleyball inside a racquetball court. 3-on-3 open league and 4-on-4 co-rec league play available! See how to play in our rules section.

Westside Courts Closed March 3-15
The Westside Courts will be closed Wednesday, March 3rd through Sunday, March 15th so that our construction team can put some finishing touches on the renovation project. Look for the sand volleyball courts to open in late March following installation of fencing near the sidewalk for added safety.

Softball Regular Season Resumes March 18th
The IM softball regular season resumes Thursday, March 18th following a 2-week hiatus for spring break and St. Patrick's Day. Softball regular season schedules are available for all teams. Just like 2009, D-I leagues (men's and co-rec), and all women's, sorority, and fraternity will permit players to bring their own bat, subject to ASA guidelines. Participants in our D-II and D-III leagues will be required to use FSU IM Sports supplied bats. See how softball is played at FSU with our softball rules.

14 Sports on the Spring Intramural Sports Planner
7-on-7 rec soccer, 5-on-5 basketball, and 5-person team bowling lead off the schedule in IM Sports this January. In all 14 more sports are planned this spring. Softball, playground dodgeball, and 4-on-4 flag football are all part of the spring sports planner. Get more information on each sport with our quick reference guides, available for all of this year's sports. If you would like more information about when a specific league is available check out the League Breakdowns for that information.

Intramural Sports: How All This Works

New to FSU? New to Intramural Sports? New to both? Learn how to become involved in Intramural Sports with our How All This Works page in the FAQ section including how to find a team, tips to get yourself or your team registered on time, and a brief overview of how sport seasons and tournaments are set-up.

Don't Get Caught with an Ineligible Player on Your Team
While most participants are automatically eligible for participation in Intramural Sports based on payment of appropriate fees to the University with tuition, approximately a dozen potential IM participants are required to provide additional information to the Intramural Sports administrative staff prior to being declared eligible to play in any Intramural Sports league or event. Does the IM staff need more information from you or a potential teammate prior to playing? Scan our collection of ineligible players to be sure. Teams that play with an ineligible player are subject to immediate dismissal from league or tournament play.

Make Your Run at the All-Campus Annual Championship Title
Want your team to be known as the best IM team on campus? Compete for the annual men's, women's, and co-rec team titles by earning points in numerous IM sports throughout the year. Read over our Annual Championship Standings Quick Summary for independent teams for the basics or get the complete details on the points standings in the Intramural Sports FAQ Files. Get involved now! Link to the independent team registration page to get your team signed up for the title race. Registration will continue through January 31st.

Rain? Check the Flag or Call the RainLine for Game Updates
Stormy afternoon? Call the IM RainLine at 850-645-RAIN (7246) before you head out to the fields to check the status of your game. The RainLine is updated, when necessary, by 5:00 p.m. on game days and throughout the evening when the rain arrives after play has begun. Or, at the Main Campus Fields, take a look at the flag. The MCF is open when the green flag is flying from the flagpole near the building. When the red flag is up, the fields are closed and all recreation is prohibited (practice, etc.). At the Rec SportsPlex, the gates will be closed and locked when the facility is closed due to wet weather. Persons using either facility when closed are subject to a citation from the FSU Police.
