MIND & BODY CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Hatha Yoga
Yoga means union of BODY-MIND-SPIRIT. It is an ancient system of asanas (yoga postures) which was developed to create the right mind, breathing, postures, movement, and relaxation. Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga that focuses on physical health and mental well being. This class combines body postures, breathing techniques, and meditation while increasing balance and flexibility. For all fitness levels!

Power Yoga
Power Yoga is a fast-paced style of yoga that focuses on strength, endurance and stamina.  This energetic style of yoga is for all fitness levels due to the easy postural modifications.  Power Yoga promotes breathwork, strength, flexibility and relaxation.  Power Yoga also promotes sweating, so bring a towel! This class is 90-minutes.

Beginning Yoga
This unintimidating class is Hatha Yoga but geared towards the beginner.  Special emphasis will be placed on selecting basic poses while intermediate options will also be offered.  Everyone will feel successful, more flexible, and thoroughly relaxed at the end of the session.

Yoga-lates
The perfect blend of Yoga and Pilates.  Both core and flexibility training are included with an emphasis on the breath to bring awareness to the body and mind.  A great choice for any student with light experience in both disciplines.  Come away feeling balanced and invigorated.  For all fitness levels.

Pilates

This class is based on the principles of core strength and stabilization as created by Joseph Pilates. Pilates is an all-encompassing mind, body, and spirit exercise - a whole approach philosophy that is often shared with other techniques such as yoga and tai-chi.
