KIDS LESSONS: OVERVIEW & SUMMER 2012 SCHEDULE

The Aquatics Department offers numerous classes each year for both children and adults to learn to swim. Classes for kids are offered during the summer semester only. Certified American Red Cross instructors teach all classes. Enrollment for classes is limited in order to maintain quality instruction and an optimal teaching environment. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Lessons are only available to FSU students or Leach Center members and their children. Please call 850-644-4531 for details.

Registration begins Monday, May 14, 2012 @ 9:30AM.

Classes Offered
Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Children enrolled in swim lessons must be at least 3 years old by the first day of class.

Location
All classes will be held at the Leach Center Pool.

Summer Sessions
Three sessions are available. All sessions are three weeks long. All classes meet Monday through Thursday each week. Fridays are used for make-up classes (holidays or inclement weather). Classes run 45 minutes-1 hour depending on the level.

Session 1:June 4-June 21, 2012 - Level 1 Full, Level 2 Full
Session 2: July 2-July 19, 2012 - Level 1 Full, Level 2 Full, Level 3 Full
Session 3: July 23-August 9, 2012 - Level 1 Full

Class Times
5:30 - 6:15 pm: Levels 1 & 2
5:30 - 6:30 pm: Levels 3, 4, 5, & 6
7:00 - 8:00 pm: Adults - Adults meet twice a week. Please indicate session A (Mondays and Wednesdays) or session B (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Class Fee
FSU Students: $40/child
Leach Center Members: $50/child.
A late fee of $20.00 will be charged for any registrations after the posted deadline.

Registration
Registration begins Monday, May 14th!

Download and print out our 2012 registration form (Microsoft Word document or Adobe Acrobat file) and mail it to us (FSU Campus Recreation / Aquatics, 210 Leach Center, Tallahassee, FL 32306-4290) or stop by FSU Aquatics Director's Office located on the Pool Deck at the Leach Center on weekdays. Sorry, no phone registration is available. Make checks/money orders payable to FSU.

Refunds & Cancellations
No refunds will be processed except in the event of class cancellation, or injury or illness that prohibits participation. Refunds must be requested during the session the child is enrolled.
